Build a pile of points, pick your offer, then stay ahead of the Catalyst down an eight step ladder. Survive that and one timed final chase stands between you and the bank.
Round 1, the point builder. Sixty seconds of fast questions. Each right answer is worth 2,000 points, and a run of right answers pays a bonus. Nothing is lost for a wrong one except time.
Round 2, the offers. The Catalyst makes three offers. Take the big one and you start one rung from its grasp. Take the safe one and you start three rungs from home, but for far fewer points.
Round 3, the head to head. Eight rungs. You answer, then the Catalyst answers the same question. Each right answer moves that player down one rung. Reach home and the points are yours to play for. Get caught and the round is over.
Round 4, the final chase. You have ninety seconds to stack up rungs, then the Catalyst gets ninety seconds to chase them down. Every time it slips you get one shot to push it back a rung.
