Adrenal Emergencies: What Do You Do FIRST?

Adrenal disease punishes bad ordering. Steroids that wait for a test, a beta blocker given before an alpha blocker, a potassium of 3.1 left behind while you do skin care — each is a defensible-sounding action in the wrong slot. Add the actions you would take to your plan in priority order, rule out the ones that would harm the patient, then check yourself.
