Walk the Airway

Respiratory vocabulary is unusually kind to beginners because it follows a physical path: nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli. Click any structure on the map to meet the combining form that lives there. Then switch to Place the root to find a form on the map from memory, and to Air or lung? to settle the one trap that costs everybody points — pneum/o against pneumon/o against pulmon/o.
sinus nose septum pharynx tonsil epiglottis larynx trachea bronchus hilum bronchiole alveoli lung lobe pleura mediastinum diaphragm thorax
Upper airway · nose to voice box
Lower airway · windpipe to air sac
Chest, membranes and measurement · dashed chips are not places
