Gender Socialization: Six Agents, One Child

Nobody is born knowing that trucks are for one child and dolls are for another, that one voice should carry across a room and another should not. Every bit of it is taught — by six agents working at different ages, through different mechanisms, with different punishments for getting it wrong. Tap each agent to see its curriculum, then sort twelve ordinary moments back to the agent that taught the lesson.
