Chapter 7 (axial skeleton) and Chapter 8 (appendicular skeleton): label it, sort it, chase it.
How to play: drag a label from the word bank onto a numbered dot or onto its numbered line in the list. On a phone, tap a label, then tap a number. Tap a filled line to take a label back. Nothing here is graded, so guess freely and use Hint whenever you want.

The big idea: every vertebra has the same basic plan (a body in front, a vertebral arch behind it, and processes sticking out), but each region has a giveaway feature. Find the giveaway and you know the region. The adult column has 7 cervical, 12 thoracic and 5 lumbar vertebrae, then the sacrum (5 fused) and the coccyx (3 to 5 fused, usually 4).

Bonus: which cervical vertebra is it?
Match each feature to its region. Drag a feature into a bin, or tap a feature and then tap a bin. Tap a placed feature to send it back.
The big idea: the axial skeleton is the central axis: skull, hyoid, vertebral column (including the sacrum and coccyx) and the thoracic cage. The appendicular skeleton is everything that hangs off it: the pectoral and pelvic girdles plus the limbs. Click bones, learn names, and chase your best score.
