Reproduction and Development Lab

Scrub embryos through time and run the classic experiments, watch hormone curves move through a cycle, practise with randomized problems, put the stages in order, and use it all in real situations. Nothing here is graded.

Simplified teaching model. Stages are drawn in the same style for every animal; times are rounded and depend on temperature for sea urchins and frogs. Cell numbers are exact only during synchronous cleavage (2ⁿ); later counts are rough. Experiment outcomes follow the classic results (Driesch, Spemann and Mangold, limb-bud grafts), drawn simply.

Hormone levels are in relative units (each hormone scaled to its own range), shaped like typical textbook curves. Ovulation is placed 14 days before the end of the cycle. The pill scenario shows a 21-day active and 7-day placebo pack; dotted lines are the synthetic hormones.
