Simplified teaching model. Joint angles follow typical adult curves; the hip swing is scaled so the drawn stride matches the step length you set. Speed = cadence × step length. Vertical force is shaped from typical curves and scaled so that the average over a whole cycle equals one body weight, which is why shorter contact means taller peaks. Muscle timing is approximate. Limp patterns show the right leg affected and are drawn for walking only.
Problems are randomly generated with realistic adult values. The worked solution shows units cancelling (struck through in red) and builds line by line. Phase frames come from the same walking model as the simulator.
